Parona Walnut Custom Kitchen with Tailored Storage
Warm Wood, Tailored Detail - Parona Walnut-finish cabinetry, a framed door profile and vertical-grain drawers create a cohesive custom kitchen.
Towne and Countree designed and built the custom perimeter cabinetry for this warm, highly tailored kitchen. The cabinetry uses the 115 door profile in a Parona Walnut finish, paired with plain vertical-grain drawer fronts. The framed doors add structure, while the clean drawer fronts keep the grain moving vertically across the lower runs. The result feels detailed without becoming heavy.
Cabinetry wraps the cooking, cleanup and appliance zones, including a double-oven tower, full-height storage, a dedicated hutch with open cookbook cubbies and an interior spice-storage system. A flat top riser, used as a ceiling blender, closes the gap above the cabinets for a more integrated finish. A built-in light valance was prepared to receive undercabinet lighting supplied by others; those lights had not been installed when the project was photographed. The countertop and tile backsplash were also completed by other trades.
From the island, the double-oven tower, sink run, range wall and full-height storage read as one connected cabinetry system.
The cooking wall is framed by tall upper cabinetry and a flat riser that blends the cabinet tops into the ceiling line.
At the window, plain vertical-grain drawers create a quiet base beneath the sink while framed doors add structure to the adjoining cabinet runs.
