Stone Grey Shaker U-Shaped Kitchen

The wide view shows a compact U-shaped kitchen that feels open and orderly, with Stone Grey cabinetry wrapping the sink centred beneath the window.

This compact U-shaped kitchen was designed by Towne and Countree, an Edmonton, Alberta-based custom cabinetry and countertop company. Shaker doors in a custom Stone Grey finish with Black glaze wrap the room in a cohesive, softly detailed palette.

The design opportunity was to create a calm, efficient workspace within a limited footprint. Towne and Countree kept appliances, storage and preparation zones within close reach, paired the cabinetry with Cambria Sandgate countertops in a standard eased edge, and routed undercabinet lighting into an undermount panel. Small cove moulding gives the cabinetry a refined finish, while Towne Renos installed the Centura La Riviera textured subway backsplash in Blanc Glossy with Arctic White grout. The result is an uncluttered kitchen with intuitive workflow, bright work surfaces and layered neutral finishes.
